Vaping Affect Your Sports Performance

Does Vaping Affect Your Sports Performance?

Smoking and vaping have become really popular nowadays because many people have decided to quit smoking cigarettes and turn to vape in order to reduce health risks connected to smoking. Now you can find vaping oils in many different flavors and you can pick the one that suits you the most.

You may also think that vaping and athletes do not actually go together but you would be wrong. Many famous athletes, such as Wayne Rooney and Jack Wilshere, can be seen puffing all the time; but it is actually common to see an athlete with a vape pen in their hands today.

Vaporizers are not the same as regular smoking. It is not only a healthier alternative to cigarettes, but it also has numerous benefits that many people, including athletes, can explore. For example, certain vape oils can increase your cardio performance. It has been proven that you can run for a long time after consuming vape oils, which cannot be said for smoking real cigarettes – the latter will cause you to experience shortness of breath and coughing.

Apparently some athletes are also able to lift heavier weights when they use vape pens with nicotine, which is a famous stimulant. By vaping nicotine you may also experience a burst of energy.

It is also important to mention that there are many negative sides to vaping, especially if you do it too much. As long as you are doing it moderately, you are okay. However, too much of anything can only be bad for your health. For example, if you vape too much, you will risk possible inflammation to your lungs, bones, and joints; which is definitely not good if you are an athlete. Also, if you suffer from an injury, then you might realize that you need more time to cure which can lead to rheumatoid arthritis and osteoporosis.

If you use nicotine oils in your puffco peak vaporizer, and then suddenly stop, you might experience nicotine withdrawals which can affect not only your mental health but also sports performance and training. Other effects include dehydration, short breath, lower physical endurance and problems with weight loss and weight gain.

Those athletes who are looking for enhancing their physical abilities usually turn to CBD (Cannabidiol – a product derived from cannabis) oils which are used for treating inflammation and pain. These oils can reduce pain and help you boost your mood. You can never get bored of one taste because there is a wide range of flavors to choose from. Cannabis has been legalized for certain medical conditions and it depends on the area where you live whether you will be able to use it if you are a professional athlete. There are many people who are against this and believe that smoking cannabis is by no means a healthier alternative to tobacco, but it is up to you to decide if you are able to take it and whether your health can handle that.

Make sure to be aware of all the negative sides and make sure to read the opinions of the athletes who have tried it. You might find it as a good solution if you are transitioning from tobacco to e-cigarettes, and as long as you are aware of both the pros and cons you should be good to go.
